Moving to the Big Apple, I got snatched up immediately for a position in social media at career development firm The Ability Project. They moved from their 5th and 23rd street location to join forces in a collaborate with Vault.com, which is one of the leading career information websites for college students and grads. Thought I might post this job posting up as a means of helping them in their search for the next social media expert:

Brief description:
The Ability Project is a career and professional development firm for young adults (ages 18-30), based in NYC. Through a collaboration with Vault.com, we are looking for a very smart individual to work with us as a Social Media intern.

Things to know:

• This is an unpaid internship, but school credit may be arranged.
• We require a commitment of 15-25 hours/week.
• We prefer that you work out of our office in Tribeca.
• Your work will be multi-faceted.

Overall, you will be directly responsible for driving targeted traffic and increasing “engagement & discussion” around certain types of media, particularly video. You will also be very involved with the on-line exposure and branding of multiple projects.
