Even City Girls Need to Eat. Really?
If you know me well, you surely know that I cannot cook. I will burn omelets and not realize it, take forever to cut up the vegetables, be inefficient in my way of prepping, and mess up the simplest of recipes. Of course, nobody has really seen me for the past month, since I’ve moved back to France for work and school, and given that, I need to find another way of sustaining myself aside from having others cook for me.
I don’t believe in having frozen dinners or instant noodles as a part of my everyday diet, simply because of how unhealthy it is. When I eat, I would like to know what goes into my food, or I would at least like to think I know. So the only other options would be to eat out everyday (but even that gets tiring) or to cook for myself. You can see which option would make me broke faster.
By chance, I came across TasteSpotting (an unaffiliated reincarnation of NOTCOT’s 18 month run of TasteSpotting webpage) through RedFlagDeals’ Food section. I decided to try out a couple recipes since they were easy to follow (i.e. LOTS of pictures to help) and easy to make. And I fell in love with it! I mean the website, not cooking. It’s got new recipes everyday and has so many possibilities brought to you by people just like yourselves! You can sign up and submit your own recipes to the website, or just use it to save recipes that you would like to try out. Really, TasteSpotting is a great resource for anyone who needs inspiration for their next breakfast, lunch, or dinner!
